Day 1:
Fly To The Netherlands
Depart Minneapolis for an overnight flight to the Netherlands.
Day 2:
Arrive In The Netherlands - Zaanse Schans – Haarlem
Upon arrival in Amsterdam's Schipol airport, we'll explore Netherland's rich cultural heritage. Our tour begins with a visit to the Zaanse Schans, a picturesque village that is home to several historic 18th century windmills. Here, you can witness the traditional craft of clog-making and savor the flavors of Dutch cheese at the Catha- rina Hoeve Cheese Farm. Later, we'll head to our cozy hotel accommodations in the vicinity of Haarlem's center for the next three nights. Our guide will introduce you to the charming city of Haarlem through an enlightening walking orientation tour. You'll get to explore the city's hidden streets, medieval architecture, and waterfront cafes. In the evening, enjoy a welcoming dinner at a local Dutch restaurant, with your host, Bobby Jensen.

Day 3:
Flower Auction - Keukenhof Gardens – Volendam
Join us on a delightful journey through the Netherlands, where we'll explore the country's vibrant flower culture. Our first stop is the Aalsmeer Flower Auction, the largest marketplace for flowers and plants in the world. Here, you'll witness millions of flowers and plants being auctioned and dispatched worldwide. Next, we'll visit the Keukenhof Gardens, one of the world's largest flower gardens, which features over 7 million blooms of tulips, irises, lilies, daffodils, orchids, hyacinths, and much more. The stunning tulip displays are especially dazzling in late April. After a morning of exploring these beautiful gardens, we are off to the pictur- esque seaside village of Volendam. Here, you can stroll along the harbor strip and enjoy the colorful houses and old fishing vessels. After a day filled with beautiful sights and experiences, we'll return to our hotel in Haarlem.

Day 4:
Amsterdam - Rijks Museum - Canal Cruise
We depart for Amsterdam and meet a local guide who will accompany us as we explore the city's canals and charming streets. Our first stop will be at the Rijks Museum, which showcases more than 8,000 objects of art and history. The museum's collection includes works by some of the most famous Dutch artists. You will see Rembrandt's "The Night Watch," Vermeer's "The Milkmaid," and Van Gogh's "Self-Portrait". Afterward, we will embark on a canal cruise through Amsterdam's canals, which will provide you with a unique perspec- tive of the city. You will have some free time to explore Amsterdam that may include a poignant stop at Anne Frank's house before returning to our hotel in Haarlem.

Day 5:
High Speed Train - Paris City Tour
We depart the Netherlands on a high-speed train to Paris, the City of Light. Upon arrival, we will be joined by a local guide who will accompany us on an orientation driving tour of the city. During the tour, you will get to see some of Paris's most iconic landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Louvre Muse- um. Afterward, we will check into our hotel, which is located in central Paris. In the evening, enjoy an included French dinner.

Day 6:
Monet's Garden
Experience a day trip from Paris to Giverny to visit the garden of Claude Monet. Monet resided in Giverny for several years and drew inspiration from his stunning garden for many of his paintings. In late April, you may witness the blooming of tulips, pansies, forget-me-nots, narcissi, aubrietas, cherry and crab-apple blossom, fritillaries, and daffodils. Enjoy a leisurely time to stroll the gardens and have lunch before we return to Paris in the early afternoon. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the beauty of Paris.

Day 7:
Paris At Leisure
Spend a leisurely day in Paris and indulge in the city's many offerings. You can choose to explore the Louvre Mu- seum, which houses countless works of art, or visit the Musée d'Orsay to see the Impressionists. Alternatively, you can window-shop at the many stores on the Champs-Élysées or explore the narrow streets of the Montmar- tre. Paris is renowned for its breathtaking beauty and offers an abundance of experiences to explore. Later, enjoy a farewell dinner to Paris on board a river cruise dining experience. Indulge in delicious French cui- sine while taking in stunning views of the city's landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and Pont Neuf.

Day 8:
Fly Home From Paris
Today, we depart for home with new friends and fond memories from our time in Holland & Paris. Or extend your stay in Europe.
