Day 1:
Fly To Ireland

Depart the United States on an overnight flight to Ireland and begin your Irish adventure. Airfare is not included in the land-only rate. Flights should be booked from Minneapolis–Saint Paul (MSP) to and from Dublin.

Day 2:

Dublin City Tour

Upon arrival in Ireland, we are joined by a local guide as we discover Dublin on a panoramic tour of the city's sights, which will include a stop at the Guinness Storehouse to savor a pint of Ireland's famous Guinness.   Enjoy free time to explore Dublin and experience Irish hospitality firsthand! Tonight, we mingle with fellow travelers during our Irish Welcome Dinner.

Day 3:
Belfast - Titanic Shipyards

This morning, we are off to Northern Ireland and Belfast, the birthplace of the Titanic. We will see iconic structures of the city including St. Peter's Cathedral and the City Hall. You will have free time to explore Donegall Place and the Cathedral Quarter before a visit to the Titanic Museum and the docks where this iconic ship was built. Late in the afternoon, we check in at our hotel in Belfast.

Day 4:
Giant's Causeway & Derry

We depart Belfast for the northern coast of Ireland and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Giant's Causeway. View the 40,000 interlocking basalt columns set on the dramatic and beautiful coastline of Northern Ireland. This afternoon we visit Old Bushmills Distillery, open since 1784. Later, we arrive in Derry for the night.

Day 5:
Sligo/Donegal & Galway

We depart for the south of Ireland through stunning countryside before arriving in the village of Sligo (or Donegal), known for an known for its authentic Irish character. Our scenic drive continues until we arrive in Galway. We will have free time to explore Galway, a charming city nestled along Ireland's west coast. Tonight we overnight in the Galway area.

Day 6:
Connemara & Kylemore Abbey & Gardens

Our morning finds us touring the Connemara Region. Connemara is a land of lakes, rivers, bogs and mountains. This is an area of small villages where Gaelic is still spoken. Connemara is one of the wildest and most romantic parts of Ireland. Later we tour Kylemore Abbey, a Benedictine monastery founded in 1920. We continue our drive through the scenic Connemara Region before returning to the hotel near Galway.

Day 7:
Cliffs of Moher

We visit a true Irish highlight, the Cliffs of Moher. The Cliffs tower more than 700 feet above the ocean at their highest point. Enjoy panoramic views of Ireland's Atlantic coast and neighboring islands. We continue our way south towards the town of Tralee. Tonight we stay in Tralee, near Dingle Peninsula.

Day 8:
Dingle Peninsula 

After a delicious Irish breakfast, we depart on one of Ireland's most popular and beautiful drives, the Dingle Peninsula. This peninsula offers a spectacular landscape of rocky bays, sandy beaches and rugged hills. Slea Head, the westernmost point, has the most dramatic coastline scenery of the peninsula and views toward the Skellig and Blasket Islands. Late afternoon, we return to our hotel in Tralee.

Day 9:
Rock Of Cashel & Blarney Castle

We depart Tralee for the Rock of Cashel. The Rock of Cashel is one of Ireland's most photographed historic sites and is associated with St. Patrick, who is said to have visited the site in 450. We continue to Blarney Castle where you have an opportunity to kiss the Blarney Stone before getting the "gift of the gab." Later, we depart for our hotel near Kilkenny. Kilkenny is one of the best-preserved medieval Irish cities.

Day 10:

Kilkenny Castle & Wicklow Mountains

This morning we depart our hotel for a visit to Kilkenny Castle. The town is dominated by the 12th-century Kilkenny Castle, built by the Normans on their arrival to this part of Ireland. Later, we make our way to Wicklow Mountains, known as the "Garden of Ireland". We visit the early Christian site of Glendalough to learn about St. Kevin's 6th-century monastery and see the ancient round tower, church ruins and Celtic crosses. Tonight, we gather for a Farewell Dinner, featuring traditional Irish music and entertainment.

Day 11:

Depart Dublin

Today, we head for home with new friends and experiences from Ireland!  Depart Dublin and arrive in Minneapolis–Saint Paul (MSP), or extend your stay in Ireland.

Trip Deposit

A $500 nonrefundable deposit per person is due at the time of registration. After final payment, all monies are nonrefundable.
