Important Information About Group Flights
When booking a group flight, please note that airlines do not assign individual seats until the day of check-in. This is standard policy for all group reservations.
If you require a specific seat—such as an aisle, window, or an upgraded/premium seat—we recommend not booking a group ticket. We are happy to provide a separate flight quote that allows for advance seat selection.
If you must sit next to a traveling partner, family member, or friend, please understand that this cannot be guaranteed on a group flight. We will always do our very best to accommodate seating requests, but final assignments are controlled by the airline.

Airport Transfers
Airport transfers are not included for guests booking a LAND ONLY package.

If your arrival flight reaches the destination before the group flight, you are welcome to join the group transfer at no additional cost.

For the return, if your departure flight leaves earlier than the group flight, you may need a separate private transfer to ensure timely arrival (additional cost).
If your personal flight schedule does not align with the group transfers, we can arrange private transfers for you at an extra charge.
Day 1 - December 1:
Fly to Munich, Germany
Guests who have selected the optional group airfare will depart Minneapolis (MSP) at 3:25 PM on Delta Air Lines Flight #160. Relax and enjoy your overnight flight to Europe as you travel across the Atlantic.
Day 2: December 2
Arrive in Munich - Salzburg
Guten Tag, Germany!
Guests traveling on the optional group airfare will arrive in Munich (MUC) at 10:55 AM after connecting through Amsterdam earlier that morning. Upon arrival, we’ll meet our driver and begin a scenic journey to our charming hotel in Salzburg, Austria.
As we travel through the picturesque Bavarian countryside, you’ll enjoy views of rolling hills, storybook villages, and the majestic Alps rising in the distance — a beautiful introduction to this festive region. Once we arrive in Salzburg, known for its rich history and stunning baroque architecture, you’ll check in and settle into your hotel for a three-night stay.
This evening, join your fellow travelers for a delightful Welcome Dinner, where we’ll gather, connect, and begin our Christmas Markets adventure together.

Day 3: December 3
Salzburg Tour - Mozart Concert
Today, we explore Salzburg, the iconic city that served as the backdrop for the film ‘The Sound of Music.’ Accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide, we will uncover the charm and beauty of one of Austria’s most celebrated destinations. Wander through the quaint, cobblestone streets and take in the historic atmosphere, with the opportunity to visit the medieval fortress that majestically overlooks the city. Later, delight in a special highlight of our trip—a Mozart Dinner Concert in Salzburg. This unforgettable experience promises to be a true highlight of our journey.

Day 4: December 4
Hallstatt Day Trip
Enjoy a magical day trip from Salzburg to the enchanting village of Hallstatt, nestled between serene lake waters and towering alpine peaks. This postcard-perfect destination, renowned for its traditional wooden houses and stunning mountain backdrop, comes alive during the Christmas season. As you wander through the narrow streets, you'll be captivated by the festive market stalls adorned with twinkling lights, offering handcrafted gifts, delicious local treats, and mulled wine. Dive into Hallstatt's rich history with a visit to the Hallstatt Museum, showcasing its ancient salt mining heritage. Capture the beauty of this winter wonderland, a beloved spot for artists and photographers, before we return to the Salzburg area, filled with the charm and spirit of a Hallstatt Christmas.

Day 5: December 5
Innsbruck - Tratzberg Castle & Bavaria
This morning we depart Salzburg and make our way to Germany's Bavaria region and the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. En-route, we make a stop at the historic Tratzberg Castle (or similar). Over 500 years ago, Tratzberg Castle began as a small fortress. Through the centuries, it changed hands many times, faced numerous challenges, and underwent constant expansion. Today, it stands as one of Austria's most beautiful and best-preserved Renaissance castles. Remarkably, Tratzberg Castle remains privately owned and serves as the residence of the Count Goëss-Enzenberg family. Later, we make our way to Austria’s Olympic skiing capital, Innsbruck. The drive will feature Austria's breathtaking alpine scenery, showcasing stunning mountain landscapes and quaint villages. Innsbruck is renowned for its distinctive medieval architecture, especially in the pedestrian-friendly Old Town, where narrow, twisting streets invite exploration. Experience the cozy Christmas markets nestled in the Old Town square, offering festive cheer and unique gifts. Later, we continue to the charming village of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, tucked into the Bavarian Alps beneath Germany's tallest peak, the Zugspitze. We will stay in Garmisch for the next three nights, enjoying its alpine beauty and warm hospitality.

Day 6: December 6
Neuschwanstein Castle
Today, we visit the renowned Neuschwanstein Castle, famously known as the inspiration for Walt Disney's fairytale castles. We'll explore the castle's interior, discovering the unique charm and grandeur that make Neuschwanstein so extraordinary. Our journey then takes us to the historic village of Oberammergau, celebrated for its iconic Passion Play, held every decade. Later, we return to Garmisch, where an included dinner awaits, followed by free time to explore and enjoy the city's vibrant atmosphere.

Day 7: December 7
Munich Christmas Markets
This morning, we head north to historic Munich, where we will explore the walkable city center, visit the famous Hofbräuhaus, and experience the vibrant Marienplatz, home to one of Germany’s most lively Christmas markets. Enjoy free time to wander the city, savoring traditional Glühwein and discovering Munich's many charms. Spend the remainder of the day exploring at your own pace. Later, we return to Garmisch, where we will gather with fellow travelers for a delightful farewell dinner at a local restaurant, reminiscing about our fabulous adventures in Austria and Germany.

Day 8: December 8
Fly home from Munich
This morning, we depart for the airport in Munich, bidding a heartfelt "Auf Wiedersehen" to Austria and Germany! As you travel home, reflect on the festive markets, alpine scenery, and unforgettable memories shared throughout your Christmas Markets experience.

Guests who have selected the optional group airfare will depart Munich (MUC) at 11:00 AM on Delta Air Lines Flight #131, arriving in Atlanta (ATL) at 3:55 PM. From there, you will connect to Delta Air Lines Flight #1280, departing Atlanta at 7:50 PM and arriving in Minneapolis (MSP) at 9:31 PM.

Pricing Details
You have the option to select either the airfare-included package or the land-only package, where you arrange your own flights. The airfare-included package comes with airport transfers. If you opt for the land-only package, you are welcome to join the group airport transfers provided your flight aligns with the group flight schedule or departs at a similar time. If your flight schedule does not align, we can arrange transfers for you at an additional cost.
To reserve your spot, we need a $500 non refundable deposit.
