Day 1: October 15
Fly To Cairo
Depart the United States for an overnight flight to Cairo! This travel experience begins and Cairo ends in Cairo, Egypt. Airfare is NOT included in the land package, however, we are happy to help obtain flights for you. The trip officially begins on the October 16th at the hotel in Cairo, and ends on October 25th in Cairo, Egypt.
Day 2: October 16
Arrive In Cairo, Egypt
Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your local guide and transferred by coach to the heart of Cairo (airport transfer is included if you purchase group airfare or if your flight arrives at the same time as the group flight). After checking in and settling into your hotel, take a leisurely orientation tour of the city. This is the perfect introduction to Cairo's charming highlights and vibrant layout, setting the stage for a deeper exploration the following day. In the evening, gather with your fellow travelers for a delightful welcome dinner to kick off your Egyptian adventure.

Day 3: October 17
Egyptian Museum & Pyramids of Giza
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a visit to the Egyptian Museum, home of the Boy-King Tutankhamun, with his achievements and treasures on display. After a short optional lunch break, travel back to ancient Egypt with a full day of touring the wonders of the ancient world, some dating back over 1000 years before Abraham. Spend time at one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the Pyramids of Giza. Cheops, originally 496 feet high, is the most colossal pyramid ever built. Stop by a papyrus factory before enjoying a panoramic view of Cairo.papyrus institute and enjoy panoramic views of Cairo.

Day 4: October 18
Fly to Luxor & Embark on Nile Cruise
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for a 55-minute flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. After the visits, proceed for embarkation on board the five-star cruise ship, where lunch will be served. In the late afternoon, visit the Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated, followed by a stroll along the city corniche.

Day 5: October 19
Karnak Temple & Sail to Edfu
After breakfast on board, visit the Temples of Karnak, then return to the ship to begin sailing to Edfu via the Esna Lock. Lunch will be served on board while sailing and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Day 6: October 20
Edfu & Kom Ombo
Breakfast on board. Visit the Temple of Edfu by horse carriage. Continue sailing to Kom Ombo, with lunch served on board.
Upon arrival in Kom
Ombo, visit the beautiful temple dedicated to the two shared gods Sobek and Haroeris.
Return to the ship and continue sailing to Aswan.

Day 7: October 21
Aswan & Optional Abu Simbel
Breakfast on board.
Free morning (possibility to arrange an optional full day trip driving through the beautiful Nubian Desert to the city of Abu Simbel).
After a breathtaking view of the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari, saved by UNESCO, drive back to Aswan. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile, with views of the Aga Khan Mausoleum

Day 8: October 22
Aswan Sightseeing & Return to Cairo
Breakfast on board. Disembarkation, followed by a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk, the Philae Temple, which witnessed the legend of Isis and Osiris, and the High Dam, which saved Egypt from drought. Stroll along the city corniche, then transfer to the airport for the flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, enjoy a stroll through the Turkish style bazaars of Khan El Khalili.

Day 9: October 23
Memphis & Saqqara

We begin our drive to northern Egypt, heading to the coastal city of Alexandria, founded by Alexander the Great and often referred to as the “Pearl of the Mediterranean.” Our tour starts with a visit to the Citadel of Qaitbay, located on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. We then continue to explore the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa and the impressive Pompey’s Pillar. There will be a stop for an optional lunch before visiting the renowned Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern tribute to the ancient Library of Alexandria. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing stroll through the beautiful Montaza Palace Gardens before we drive back to Cairo.

Free day in Cairo
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a short drive to Memphis. Founded around 3100 BC, Memphis is the legendary city of Menes, the king who united
Upper and Lower Egypt. From a Biblical perspective, Memphis is most likely where Abraham told Pharaoh that his wife Sarah was his sister, and where Joseph served as second in command. While in Memphis, we will view a very large and well-preserved statue of Ramses II. Next, visit Saqqara, one of the most extensive archaeological sites in Egypt. Saqqara is dominated by the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, dating back to 2700 BC, making it one of the oldest stone structures in the world. Enjoy a stop to see how local Egyptian carpets are made before a short drive to the hotel.
