Day 1:  May 3
Fly To Rome, Italy

Depart the United States for an overnight flight to Europe and the eternal city, Rome

Day 2:  May 4
Arrive In Rome, Italy

Arrive at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport and be welcomed by your English-speaking tour manager, who will accompany you throughout your journey. Board your private coach for a panoramic drive through the Eternal City, taking in highlights such as the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, and Piazza Venezia. Check in to your centrally located 4-star hotel, then unwind before a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, savoring traditional Italian dishes accompanied by water, wine, or a soft drink.

Day 3:  May 5
Vatican Museum

After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of the Vatican Museums, where centuries of art and history await. This morning, if Pope Leo is in the city, attend the historic Papal Audience to see the first American pope in history. If the Pope is not in Rome that day, you will still enjoy the spiritual and architectural splendor of St. Peter’s Square and the surrounding Vatican area. After this extraordinary experience, the afternoon is yours to explore Rome at your own pace—wander through lively markets, toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain, or enjoy a cappuccino at a quiet piazza café. Dinner is on your own.

Day 5:  May 7
Colosseum & Ancient Rome

After breakfast and hotel check-out, depart Rome for Orvieto, a dramatic hilltop town perched atop a striking tufa stone cliff, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Umbrian countryside as you approach. Your guide will lead you through the town’s jewel, the Duomo di Orvieto, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture adorned with stunning mosaics and frescoes that tell vivid stories from centuries past.
