Stroll the cobbled streets lined with whitewashed houses draped in bougainvillea, browse local artisan shops, and don’t miss the chance to sample a shot of ginja—Portugal’s signature cherry liqueur—served in a tiny chocolate cup.
After soaking up the magic of Óbidos, we continue on to Lisbon and check into our centrally located hotel, your home for the next three nights. The evening is yours to settle in, explore the neighborhood, or catch your first glimpse of Lisbon’s iconic tilework and pastel buildings as the sun begins to set.

Our main stop is the breathtaking Palácio da Pena, perched high above the clouds. With its vibrant colors, whimsical architecture, and panoramic views, it’s one of Portugal’s most photographed sights for good reason. While in Sintra, we’ll also grab a warm travesseiro—the town’s beloved pillow-shaped pastry—fresh from a local bakery.
Afterward, we wind our way along the Atlantic coast, passing dramatic cliffs and golden beaches en route to Cascais, a chic seaside village once favored by royalty. You’ll have time to explore its stylish streets, oceanfront promenades, and relaxed coastal vibe.
In the evening, we’ll head to one of Lisbon’s classic venues for dinner and a live Fado performance. This soulful, traditional music captures the heart of Portuguese culture—an emotional and unforgettable end to an extraordinary day.
