Day 1: June 9
Fly To Croatia

Depart the United States for an overnight flight to Croatia!  This travel experience begins in Zagreb and ends in Dubrovnik, Croatia.  Airfare is NOT included in the land package, however, we are happy to help obtain flights for you.  The trip officially begins on the 10th June at the hotel in Zagreb, and ends on June 20th in Dubrovnik, Croatia. 

Day 2:  June 10
Arrive In Zagreb, Croatia

Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your local guide and transferred by coach to the heart of Zagreb (airport transfer is included if you purchase group airfare or if your flight arrives at the same time as the group flight). After checking in and settling into your hotel, take a leisurely orientation tour of the city. This is the perfect introduction to Zagreb’s charming highlights and vibrant layout, setting the stage for a deeper exploration the following day. In the evening, gather with your fellow travelers for a delightful welcome dinner to kick off your Croatian adventure.

Day 3:  June 11
Zagreb Highlights

After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of Zagreb with your knowledgeable local guide. Discover the charm of both the historic Upper Town and the vibrant Lower Town, as your guide brings the city’s fascinating history to life. Stroll through cobblestone streets lined with colorful buildings and explore iconic landmarks such as St. Mark’s Church, with its distinctive tiled roof, and the magnificent Zagreb Cathedral, one of the tallest Gothic structures in the world. Wander through the bustling Dolac Market, where you’ll experience the lively atmosphere and discover fresh local produce.

As you walk through the Upper Town, visit landmarks like the Stone Gate, home to a revered statue of the Virgin Mary, and the Lotrščak Tower, offering stunning panoramic views of the city. Your guide will also share stories about Zagreb’s past, from medieval times to its vibrant cultural scene today.

In the afternoon, the city is yours to explore at leisure. Relax at one of Zagreb's many cafés, or head to Tkalčićeva Street, a lively hub filled with charming bars and boutiques. You may want to visit the lush green spaces of Zrinjevac Park or explore the beautiful art-nouveau architecture around the city. For art lovers, the Museum of Contemporary Art showcases the best of modern Croatian art, while the Croatian National Theatre is perfect for a dose of culture.

Dinner this evening is on your own, allowing you the flexibility to choose from Zagreb's exceptional restaurants. From traditional Croatian dishes to contemporary dining, the city offers a wide variety of culinary experiences.

Day 4:  June 12
Plitvice Lakes National Park

After breakfast, board your coach for a scenic drive to Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of Croatia’s most awe-inspiring natural treasures and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This park is renowned for its dramatic landscapes, featuring a series of 16 interconnected lakes, crystal-clear waters, and cascading waterfalls surrounded by lush forest. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a guided walking tour through the park’s breathtaking scenery. Your guide will lead you along wooden pathways and scenic trails, where you’ll experience panoramic views of turquoise waters, hear the sound of waterfalls tumbling over ancient rocks, and breathe in the fresh mountain air. The park’s diverse flora and fauna, along with its rich natural history, make this a truly unforgettable experience.

As you explore, you’ll visit highlights like the Great Waterfall, Croatia's tallest waterfall, plunging over 78 meters into the lake below, and the vibrant, multi-colored lakes that change hues depending on the light and season. You may also have the chance to take a boat ride across the crystal-clear waters, offering a unique perspective of the park’s majestic beauty.

After a day of exploring this natural wonder, enjoy a peaceful dinner at your hotel, surrounded by the serenity and tranquility of the national park. This is a true highlight of your journey, offering both relaxation and awe-inspiring views.  We overnight near Plitvice.

Day 5:  June 13
Coastal Croatia & Trogir

After breakfast, depart by coach for the Dalmatian Coast, taking in the ever-changing landscapes as you journey from the serene inland lakes to the sparkling, crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills and picturesque villages. Upon arrival in the charming coastal town of Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its medieval architecture, you’ll make your way to the port. Here, you’ll board your cruise ship and begin your unforgettable journey, sailing the stunning Croatian coastline, with its rugged islands, secluded coves, and historic seaside towns waiting to be explored.

This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Trogir, where you’ll marvel at its well-preserved medieval architecture, narrow cobbled alleys, and stunning waterfront promenade. Explore the town’s rich history, including highlights such as the Cathedral of St. Lawrence and the Kamerlengo Fortress. After the tour, enjoy leisure time to wander through the town's charming streets at your own pace.

Return to Marina Baotić, where you’ll be welcomed aboard with a refreshing cocktail, followed by crew introductions and a delightful dinner. Marina Baotić is well-equipped with various amenities, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable evening as you prepare for the next exciting chapter of your Croatian adventure.

Day 6:  June 14
Trogir - Vis

After a delicious breakfast buffet on board the ship, we depart for the island of Brač, where a refreshing swim awaits at the most famous beach in Dalmatia – Zlatni Rat near Bol. This unique shingle promontory shifts with the wind and waves, constantly changing its shape. Bol itself is a charming fishing village that has evolved into a popular tourist destination while retaining its authentic character.

Next, we continue to the island of Vis, once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and closed to the public for many years. This isolation has allowed Vis to preserve a unique charm, offering a glimpse into “the Mediterranean as it once was.” Located on the northern side of the island, Vis has grown near the remains of ancient Issa, the first urban center in Croatia. During your visit, you can sample the island's local wines, renowned for their rich flavors. If you're interested, explore the remains of the Roman Thermal Baths, visit the City Museum, or simply stroll along the waterfront, enjoying views of the beautiful Villae Rusticae.

The day concludes with a wine tasting at a local winery, giving you a taste of the island’s unique offerings. Overnight in the port of Vis.

Day 7:  June 15
Vis - Hvar 

Early morning departure for a cruise to the small island of Biševo, home to the renowned Blue Cave, a stunning natural phenomenon (entrance fee payable on-site). Due to the often unpredictable weather conditions, the visit to the cave will depend on the sea conditions, but you will be notified in advance if there are any changes.

Continue your journey towards the glamorous island of Hvar, with lunch served on board as we pass by the Pakleni Islands. Hvar, the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic, is famous for its vibrant lavender fields and breathtaking landscapes. Arrive in the afternoon for a guided tour of the town’s historical landmarks, including the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower and the oldest community theater in Europe, founded in 1612.

For stunning panoramic views of the harbor and the Pakleni Islands, hike up the scenic zig-zag path to the town fort. In the evening, Hvar offers a lively atmosphere with a variety of restaurants, bars, and clubs.

Day 8:  June 16
Hvar - Korcula

Early morning departure towards the island of Korčula, famously known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Along the way, we’ll stop for lunch in one of the island’s secluded bays, offering a peaceful break with stunning views.

Arrive in Korčula in the afternoon, where you’ll enjoy a guided walking tour of this enchanting town, surrounded by well-preserved medieval walls and often referred to as “Little Dubrovnik” due to its historical charm and beauty. Korčula is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean, with narrow, winding streets that wind through the Old Town, designed in a unique fishbone pattern to provide natural cooling and shelter from the sun. The town’s blend of Venetian, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture adds to its timeless allure, while the vibrant greenery and coastal views make it a truly picturesque destination.

Overnight in one of Korčula's charming ports, where you can soak in the serene atmosphere and the stunning beauty of this historic island.

Day 9:  June 17
Korcula - Mljet 

​The next morning, continue south to the Island of Mljet, steeped in legend as the place where the Greek hero Odysseus was held captive by the nymph Calypso for several years. Join the cruise manager for a leisurely stroll to the famous salt lakes within Mljet National Park, followed by a scenic boat ride to St. Mary Isle. Here, you’ll explore an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey, and a 12th-century church, each offering a glimpse into the island's rich history.  For those seeking a more independent adventure, rent kayaks, bicycles, scooters, or even convertible cars to explore the National Park or the island at your own pace—just be sure to keep an eye out for the enchanting nymphs! Embrace the peaceful, serene atmosphere of this beautiful island.

Day 10: June 18
Mljet - Slano (Ston)

Depart for the small village of Slano on the mainland, a tranquil fishing village that offers a glimpse into traditional Croatian coastal life. This peaceful village is the gateway to Ston, a historic settlement known for its impressive medieval fortifications and its world-renowned oysters.

After exploring Ston’s vast medieval ramparts and soaking in the stunning views of the surrounding countryside, head to the nearby village of Mali Ston, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the local oyster farming industry and enjoy a special tasting of these delicacies, considered some of the best in the world.

Return to the vessel for the Captain’s dinner, where you’ll indulge in a delightful meal accompanied by live entertainment, creating the perfect end to a memorable day.

Day 11:  June 19
Slano - Dubrovnik

Morning departure to Dubrovnik, one of the world’s most beautifully preserved medieval cities, often referred to as the "Pearl of the Adriatic." Before arriving at Gruž Harbour, enjoy a scenic cruise along the iconic city walls, offering a unique perspective of this UNESCO World Heritage site. As you sail, lunch will be served on deck, allowing you to take in the stunning views of Dubrovnik’s ancient fortifications.

Upon docking, transfer to the Old Town for a guided walking tour through this magical town. Discover the rich history and timeless beauty as you stroll through narrow, cobbled streets, where Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture line every corner. For panoramic views, take the cable car from the Old Town to Srđ Mountain, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking vistas of the city walls and the Elaphiti Islands beyond.

For the truly adventurous, walk along the 1,940-meter-long city walls, where you can admire the stunning architecture of the Old Town from above. Dubrovnik is a city of captivating contrasts, where history and natural beauty come together in perfect harmony.

Day 12:  June 20
Fly Home from Dubrovnik

Enjoy one last delicious breakfast onboard, taking in the stunning views and reflecting on the unforgettable experiences of the trip. From exploring historic cities and pristine islands to forming lasting friendships with fellow travelers, this journey has been filled with adventure, discovery, and laughter. After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to the crew and your new friends, who have made this trip truly special. Check-out is by 9:00 am, but the memories of this incredible journey along the Croatian coastline will stay with you long after you’ve left. Trip Deposit & Payment

To secure your spot, a non-refundable deposit of $500 per person is required upon registration. We strongly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance for your peace of mind and security. To facilitate affordable pricing, we offer the option of cash payments. The prices listed are applicable for cash transactions. Should you opt to pay with a credit card, a processing fee will be applied at the time of 'checkout'. This fee varies between 2.9% to 3.9%, depending on the type of card used.
