Day 1:
Fly To Sicily
Depart the United States for an overnight flight to Europe and the island of Sicily!
Day 2:
Arrive In Sicily, Italy
We arrive in Palermo, Sicily before being joined by a local guide. Enjoy a walking tour of the area around the hotel before checking in (4PM check in). Tonight, meet fellow travelers hosted by Michael & Anthony during a traditional Sicilian dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3:
Palermo City Tour - Monreale Mosaics
Every morning enjoy an included Italian breakfast. Later, our local guide introduces us to the seaside city of Pal- ermo including a visit to the 14th century Chiaromonte-Steri Palace. Palermo was the capital for both the Arabs and Normans, Palermo's monuments reflect the beauty of the two worlds. One example is the 12th century Palatine Chapel, built by the Normans, but decorated with Byzantine style mosaics. This afternoon we visit the hill-top town of Monreale before entering the 12th century Cathedral which is covered in almost 70,000 sq. feet of gold & polychrome mosaics.

Day 4:
Segesta & Erice Hilltop Village
We are off to the beauty of western Sicily with a day trip to the UNESCO Temple of Segesta & the hilltop vil- lage of Erice. The morning starts with a visit to the archaeological excavation of the 5th century BC temple of Segesta. Later, we take in the hilltop town of Erice which is known for it's timeless charm with narrow alleys and stunning views.

Day 5:
Agrigento - Valley Of The Temples
We depart Palermo for the south of Sicily & the seaside of Agrigento area. Agrigento is home to Sicily's most awe-inspiring attraction: the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Valley of the Temples. A local guide joins us as we discover this site that is loaded with history, beauty and archaeological significance dating back thousands of years. Tonight, we overnight and dine in Agrigento.

Day 6:
Modica - Chocolate Tasting - Wine Tasting – Siracusa
We depart the south of Sicily for the east and the historic city of Siracusa. En route to Siracusa we will make a stop in Modica. Modica clings to a steep-sided gorge and has a labyrinth of alleys that connect the upper and lower part of the village. We will also taste the famous chocolate that has been associated with the town for the past four centuries. Later, we visit a wine cellar with an included lunch and wine tasting before checking into our hotel in Siracusa for the next two nights.

Day 7:
Siracusa Archaeological Site
A local guide joins us as we discover the Archaeological Site of Siracusa. This site contains the impressive re- mains of the ancient city of Syracuse dating as far back as the 8th century BC. Enjoy the remainder of the day to make your own discoveries in this historic city.

Day 8:
Catania
Depart the hotel for Catania. Upon arrival in Catania, we will explore the city during a walking orientation tour. Later, we check into the hotel for the next two evenings. Relax at the beach or return to the city center for shopping and strolling the charming center.

Day 9:
Mt. Etna – Taormina
This morning we visit Mount Etna and its amazing landscape. On the way up we will see vineyards and farms that dot the Mt. Etna slopes before stopping at a local farm for an included lunch and wine tasting. Later, we visit Taormina and the Greco-Roman Theatre. The theatre may be the finest site of its kind in the world with striking monuments and views. Most recently, Taormina is know for the setting for the HBO show, White Lotus.

Day 10:
Fly To Rome
Depart the hotel for the airport in Catania, where we take a short flight (included) from Catania to Rome. Upon arrival in Rome, we will be introduced to the Eternal City. Discover the nearby Roman classics such as the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon.

Day 11:
Colosseum - Roman Forum
This morning a local Roman guide joins us as we have specially arranged tickets to see inside the Colosseum be- fore we walk the Roman Forum, which dates back nearly 2000 years. The afternoon is yours to explore on your own. Tonight, experience an included farewell dinner hosted by Anthony and Michael.

Day 12:
Fly Home From Rome
Today morning we depart for home with new friends and experiences in Sicily and Rome. Or extend your stay in Europe. Included Meals: Breakfast
