Day 1:
Fly To Germany
Depart the United States for an overnight flight to Europe and the charm of the Alps.

Day 2:
Dachau & Munich
Guten tag Germany! Upon arrival in Munich we make a poignant stop at the Dachau Memorial Site. Later, we enjoy a walking tour of Munich including a visit to the famous Hofbrauhaus. Late afternoon finds us making our way to our hotel in the Salzburg area. Mingle with fellow travelers during our deli- cious Welcome Dinner.

Day 3:
Berchtesgaden & Eagle's Nest
This morning we are off to the village of Berchtes- gaden, which is nestled in the cozy Bavarian Alps. Berchtesgaden is well known for being one of the most beautiful areas in Germany and the moun- tain home of Adolf Hitler. We have the opportunity to visit the Eagle's Nest and the remains of Hitler's mountain retreat. The Eagles Nest offers stunning views of the Obersalzburg area. Later we enjoy a cruise on Bavaria's beautiful Lake Konigssee.

Day 4:
Salzburg & Sound Of Music
Today we tour Salzburg, which home for the film 'Sound of Music. We will be joined by a local guide as we discover one of Austria's most beautiful and recognized cities. We have time to explore the quaint cobble-stoned streets with the opportunity to visit the medieval fortress that lies above the city or one of the cozy beer gardens.

Day 5:
Salzburg Lakes & Hallstatt
Enjoy a day-trip through the picturesque Salzburg lakes and mountains to the postcard-perfect village of Hallstatt. Long a favorite location for artists and pho- tographers due to its quaint traditional buildings and romantic setting. Tonight we return to the Salzburg area.

Day 6:
Innsbruck Austria
We depart the Salzburg area for Austria's Olympic skiing capital, Innsbruck. En route we make a stop at Tratzberg Castle. Perched on a hilltop high above Inntal Valley, this imposing castle was first mentioned in the 13th century. It was originally built to defend the border to Germany's Bavaria. Afternoon finds us in Innsbruck. Innsbruck is known for its distinctive medieval architecture, most notably in pedestrian- friendly Old Town, with its wonderful-to-wander nar- row, twisting streets.

Day 7:
Liechtenstein & Switzerland
We depart Innsbruck for Liechtenstein & Switzer- land. Liechtenstein is one of the smallest countries in Europe with Vaduz as its capital and a population of 5,000. Late afternoon finds us arriving in the well positioned city of Lucerne, Switzerland.

Day 8:
Lauterbrunnen Valley
A day trip takes us to the Lauterbrunnen, which is situated in one of the most stunning valleys in the Alps with over 72 thundering waterfalls, secluded val- leys and colorful alpine meadows, the Lauterbrunnen Valley is sure to be a highlight. Later, we enjoy a ride on the Kleine Schedeigg where a mountain train takes us out of the valley and offers us amazing views of the Bernese Oberland including the Monch, Eiger and Jungfrau mountains. Enjoy some leisure time in the area before returning to Lucerne.

Day 9:
Lucerne
A local guide joins us on a tour of Lucerne. Lucerne is one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland and is located directly on the shores of Lake Lucerne. Lu- cerne retains much of its medieval flavor with the old city center, the Lion Monument and the Chapel Bridge (one of the oldest in Europe). You will have free time to explore this jewel and shop for Swiss Chocolate and other souvenirs. Later, join fellow travelers for a memorable Farewell Dinner.

Day 10:
Fly Home From Zurich
We pack our bags and say farewell as we depart for the airport in Zurich. We arrive back home with fond memories during our trip to the Alps.
