What kind of hotels are we staying in?  The hotels we are using for this trip are 4* and are centrally located.  Breakfast is also included at the hotel.  Lisbon - 3 nights at the Bessa Hotel Lisbon. Douro Valley Area - 2 nights at the Lamego Hotel & Life.  Porto - 2 nights Pousada do Porto - Rua das Flores 
What currency is used in Portugal? Portugal uses the Euro
Do I need a passport to travel to Portugal? Yes, travelers must have a valid passport
Is there free time on this trip? Yes, each day there is at least one group activity and the remainder of the day is yours (when mentioned)
If I don't have a roommate, will I get paired with someone to share the cost? No, we do not pair you with anyone unless you request that you are looking to share a room
Is there a lot of out of pocked expense on this trip? No, many meals and attractions are already included in the tour rate - essentially spending money, extra meals & attractions. not mentioned are additional
Can I extend my stay in Europe before or after the trip?  Yes, many guests enjoy coming early or staying later and exploring the area or a different part of Europe
How to I obtain airfare to Portugal?  We suggest looking at Google flights - otherwise, we are happy to offer you a quote out of your city  

Do you suggest purchasing travel insurance?  Yes, we HIGHLY recommend purchasing the optional insurance.  Travel insurance offers financial assistance in baggage delay, flight cancelations, covered medical cancelations and so much more.  We offer insurance through TravelEx - however, there are many other companies out there that also offer this coverage.
