Nov. 4: Barcelona City Tour - Sagrada Familia - Park Guell

In the morning we are joined by a local expert guide as we explore a few of Barcelona's most famous sights. Our first visit will be to the Sagrada Familia, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Antoni Gaudi's masterpiece. Sagrada Familia is un- doubtedly the most iconic structure in Barcelona. Construction has been ongoing for more than 135 years, and the sur- real structure, with its rainbow-hued stained glass windows, is due for completion in 2026. the afternoon offers a visit to Park Güell, one of Gaudi's major works in Barcelona. Take in spectacular views of Barcelona and explore this stunning green space that's surrounded by modernist architecture. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Day 4:
Nov. 5: Gothic Barcelona - Food Tour - Flamenco Performance

Our local guide joins us from the hotel as we explore the Gothic Quarter. This quarter is a journey through time to Barce- lona's oldest history, going back to the time of Roman rule; in fact, the Roman grid plan is still visible today in the quar- ter's layout with only a few roads that are open to car traffic. The Gothic Quarter and its medieval streets are a great place to "lose yourself" but never truly get lost. The afternoon is yours to explore Gothic Barcelona. In the evening, we are joined by a local food guide to discover some of the best eats in all of Barcelona. There will be plenty of tastes along the way to make an entire meal! Later, experience the sounds of Spain with traditional Flamenco dancing.

Nov. 6: Barcelona At Leisure

Take the entire day to make your own discoveries in the city of Barcelona or opt for a day trip outside of the city. Bar- celona offers an attractive location to make adventures south, or you could jump on a train and head north to the tiny country of Andorra located in the Pyrenees. There is plenty to see and experience in and around Barcelona.

Day 6:
Nov. 7: Montserrat Day Trip - Cava Tastings

We are joined by a local guide during a day trip to nearby Montserrat, including the 10th century Benedictine Abbey. The name Montserrat literally means 'serrated mountain' in Catalan. For some people, a visit to Montserrat is a religious pilgrimage; for others, it's a visit to a unique mountain range offering views over Catalonia. The Benedictine monastery includes a basilica famous for the Virgin of Montserrat (Black Madonna). Following our visit to Montserrat, we will stop off at a local winery and try the famous Spanish Cava (similar to French Champagne). Late afternoon has us returning to Barcelona.
